Humans have been using hand tools since the Stone Age! As time went by, tools evolved from stone-made to ones made from metal and other materials. The ancient Egyptians and Romans have been using hand tools as a day to day essential for thousands of years! 

By definition, as the name suggests, hand tools are powered by hand. They are manual in operation and do not have any Mechanical Forces. To name a few are wrenches, pliers, cutters, hammers, screwdrivers, Hand saws, Hand drills, etc. Many tools are used daily yet they are taken by us for granted! A knife is one such example. It makes life simpler and effortless in the kitchen. That is the role of a hand tool – to aid us in doing a better job without much effort.
