The first SAFE GROUP Company (Prakash Refrigeration Company) was founded in 1965 in Kolkata (A city in eastern part of India) as a family business by Sekhani brothers. With their business integrity, combined with customer-oriented approach and with quality and wide range of products, they quickly became renowned for their reliability and quality.

Over the years, their rich experience and entrepreneurial spirit combined with the dedication and skill of their employees helped the company to grow from a local trading business to a world leader in the complex HVAC sector. The Group now has offices and dealer network across India and do business worldwide.
With established trading and family growing, the Group decided to also move into manufacturing and established brands such as PMI (Plastic Parts), Dry All (Refrigeration Line Products) & SAFE (Sheet Metal Components).With local distribution business established, it was time to go international. This would included both import and export of goods to and from all parts of the world.
